My first car was this 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, originally In-Violet (FC7), with a 318 CID engine, 2-bbl carburetor. At some point I installed an Edelbrock Intake Manifold with a Dual-line Holley carburetor (850 CFM); way too much for the little 318 engine! This is the only picture that I can find of the original In-Violet color scheme of my 1970 Plymouth Barrcuda, taken at my wedding many moons ago!
In 1976 as the original In-Violet (FC7) paint color began to peel off, I had it painted the Barracuda above Slate Grey. Here is a picture of it at MCAS El Toro, CA., VMFP-3 parking lot, while I was in the Marine Corps.
My personal favorites are the muscle cars from the 60's and 70's. The Barracuda above was used as a trade-in at SELMAN CHEVROLET in Orange, CA., sometime during 1977, for this 1978 Z-28 Camaro.
